Slavernijconferentie Martinique
The association “Dodine” announces a Conference to be held April, 19, 20, 21 2011 in Martinique. The purpose of this conference is to investigate the following fields in which the creativity of slaves developed itself: religions, music, dance, painting, carving, literature, technical inventions. Though they may explore their African origin, studies should focus upon the creative contribution of Africans, in countries of the American continent.
Proposals should be submitted electronically and must include your name,
title of the paper and an abstract of 300 words. Submit proposals by July 31 2010.
