Oratie Rosemarijn Hoefte
Op vrijdag de 16e maart 2018, des namiddags om 16.00 uur, zal de Hooggeleerde Vrouwe dr. R.M.A.L. Hoefte, in samenwerking met het Koninklijk Instituut voor Taal-, Land- en Volkenkunde (KITLV) / Koninklijke Nederlandse Akademie van Wetenschappen (KNAW), benoemd tot Bijzonder Hoogleraar Geschiedenis van Suriname sinds 1873 in vergelijkend perspectief, haar hoogleraarsambt openlijk aanvaarden door het uitspreken van een rede, getiteld: Koloniale stuiptrekking: Het experiment Suriname in de jaren 1930 in de Aula der Universiteit van Amsterdam, ingang Singel 411, hoek Spui.

Tot het bijwonen van deze plechtigheid worden alle beoefenaren van de wetenschap en alle belangstellenden uitgenodigd door de Rector Magnificus prof. dr. ir. K.I.J. Maex.
