No Place Like Home
On Friday, July 1 at 8pm, during the fifth edition of 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗴𝗮𝗲 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗰𝘀, Caribbean Creativity [CC] will show the long-lost Jamaican film 𝗡𝗼 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲: 𝗥𝗲𝗱𝘂𝘅 (2019) in 𝗠𝗲𝗹𝗸𝘄𝗲𝗴 𝗖𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗺𝗮!
Before this film, which can be seen as the successor to The Harder They Come, CC will also screen 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝗛𝗲𝗻𝘇𝗲𝗹𝗹: 𝗔 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿’𝘀 𝗢𝗱𝘆𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘆 (2019, 28′), a short documentary about the making of this fully restored version from 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲. Of course there will also again be Jamaican snacks from 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗴𝗮𝗲 𝗥𝗶𝘁𝗮 and reggae tunes as soon as you enter the theatre.
