Allow me to caress you
Be it just by sight,
To celebrate your sweet might.
Despite all droughts you stand upright,
Garnishing our island in green,
Protected by many a defying thorn
Cacti, my passion,
Painting our landscape
into the outlandish site
That fills our visitors with delight.
